EDTF is a unified effort by Ethiopians for Ethiopians without any interference by the Ethiopian, US or any other government. Friends of EDTF Inc. is a US 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, governed under US law.
All decisions are made by the EDTF Board based on the wishes of donors without any involvement from the Ethiopian, US or any other government, institution, or individual. Donated funds are targeted to finance sustainable development projects in Ethiopia without regard to ethnicity, religion, or politics.
ፍሬንድስ ኦፍ ኢዲቲኤፍ (Friends of EDTF, Inc.) በኢትዮጵያውያን የተቀናጀ ጥረት ለኢትዮጵያውያን የሚሠራ፤ ምንም ዓይነት የኢትዮጵያም የአሜሪካም ሆነ የሌላ መንግሥት ጣልቃ ገብነት የሌለው ሲሆን፤ በአሜሪካ ሕግ አንቀጽ 501(c)(3) የተመሠረተ እና የሚተዳደር፤ ትርፍ አልባ ድርጅት ነው።
ውሳኔዎቻችን በሙሉ፤ የተለገሠውን ገንዘብ እንዴት በሥራ ላይ እንደምናውል የምናደርገውን ውሳኔ ጨምሮ፤ የለጋሾችን አሰተያየት ባገናዘበ መልኩ፤በኢዲቲኤፍ ቦርድ ብቻ የሚተላለፉ እና፤ ከቦርዱ አባላት ውጪ፤ ከማንኛውም የኢትዮጵያ የአሜሪካን ወይም ሌላ ማንኛውም መንግሥት፤የተቋምም ሆነ የግለሰብ ተሳትፎ ነጻ በሆነ መልኩ የሚደረጉ ናቸው። የተለገሰው ገንዘብ በሙሉ በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ፤ ዘርና ጎሳን፤ ሃይማኖትን፤ ወይም ፖለቲካን ሳይመለከት፤ ዘላቂነት ባለው የልማት ሥራ ላይ ይውላል።
